CS3.7, record attendance, and killer sound system highlight CES for THIEL.

150,000 attendees and 2500 exhibitors set records for North America's largest trade show.

A sneak peek of the much-anticipated CS3.7 loudspeaker, a record show attendance, and a killer surround-sound demo highlighted the recent 2006 Consumer Electronics Show for THIEL Audio. Over 150,000 were in attendance in Las Vegas January 5-8 to see more than 2500 exhibitors making this the largest CES ever.

THIEL was one of more than 200 High Performance Audio exhibitors at the Alexis Park Hotel. THIEL's Athena Ballroom exhibit was also shared this year with partners Bryston and Synergistic Research in a revised room layout. The exhibit's music/home theater 5.2 surround-system featured four CS2.4 loudspeakers for front and rear channels, THIEL's high-performance MCS1 for the center channel, and two of THIEL's new SS3 SmartSub(r) subwoofers, all seamlessly matched with THIEL's innovative SC1 Integrator and PXO series Passive Crossovers. The THIEL speakers were powered by Bryston's 7B SST monoblocks and 4B SST stereo amplifier and Synergistic Research's new SPEC series cables and interconnects.

"The combination of THIEL, Bryston, and Synergistic Research produced some of the best sound we've ever had at CES," said THIEL Director of Sales, Ken Dawkins. "And all with reasonably priced components by high-end standards."
